Games Without Borders (2001 – 2008)

Informal cross-border education of young people from CZ, PL and later on also SK in high schools age (aged 15 – 19) with the help of cross-border competing in non-traditional disciplines, financed mostly from the PHARE CBC and INTERREG money.

Cca 300 students trained

Cross-Border Education Academy (2006 – 2007)

The pilot testing of cross-border education for the following target groups: university students, teachers, public servants and representatives of NGOs from Czech and Polish part of TesinSilesia.

Cca 160 persons trained

Analysis on Joint Teachers´ Training Possibilities in Tesin Silesia (2006 – 2007)

The analysis on possibilities of joint teachers´ training for the mixed target groups of teachers from CZ and PL, cca 60 schools involved.

CBC Strategy of Tesin Silesia Region NGOs (2008 – 2009)

The project helped to create the first cooperation strategy of Czech and Polish NGOs which crossed the borders. The strategy was developed and is currently being implemented. 27 NGOs and approximately 50 people took part in the process.

Business Without Borders (2008 – 2010)

The project aimed both at supporting the entrepreneurship spirit and culture of CBC between high-school students from Czech and Polish part of Tesin Silesia Region via interactive business-simulation game.

Approximately 200 people took part in the project.

Cross-Border Education Academy for Public Servants (2009 – 2011)

This project aimed at increasing the level of CBC of Czech and Slovak public servants by the means of training in the fields of joint cross-border projects development, financing cross-border co-operation, soft-skills and the use of IT to cooperate beyond the borders.

Together for Innovations (2010 – 2012)

This project is trying to help creating joint cross-border innovation and entrepreneurship environment in Moravian-Silesian Region (CZ) and Žilina Region (SK). The main tools are cross-border trainings and consultancy.

It Is Time for Business (2010 – 2012)

This Czech-Slovak project builds on methodology and results of Business without Borders project and widespreads the know-how and approach also on the Czech-Slovak borders.

Connect to the Nature (2010 – 2012)

This project aims to make high-school students from CZ, PL and SK think jointly about the environmental issues and strengthen thus their cooperation beyond the borders.

Consultancy and training for public authorities (not under our own projects)

Organisation of study visits for Czech, Polish and Slovak public authorities to the organisations responsible for CBC or training in cross-border matters, notably:

2007, 2008 – study visit to M.O.T. and Euro-Institute for the group of politicians and public servants from the Moravia-Silesia Region.

2008: Preparation of project deepening the cooperation of Silesian universities both in CZ and PL

2010 – study visit to EGTC Eurometropole Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai and EGTC West Vlaanderen

2009 – 2011: Moderation of EGTC TRITIA creation, which included:

  • organisation of training on the EGTC in general and EGTC creation
  • leading, moderating and animating working sessions of the EGTC preparatory team
  • preparing 3 INTERREG IVA projects which now finance the creation of the EGTC
  • elaborating the study comparing the way the CBC is conducted in Eurometropole Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai and CZ-PL-SK border region creating EGTC TRITIA.


Design and organisation of 6 conferences dedicated to the CBC issues.
